Once the traveler receives his/her eTourist visa via email, he/she should print it out and take a copy of it with him/her to the airport when he/she travels. The eTourist visa will need to be presented to Indian Immigration and Border Control officials upon arrival in India. The Indian officials will verify the traveler’s information, scan the traveler’s fingerprints and take a photo of him/her. They will then place an entry sticker on the traveler’s passport which officially approves their entry into the country.
